At 10-12 inches away, the Flamingo delivers 10,000 Lux and should be used for 20-30 minutes each day. At 18 inches it delivers 5,000 Lux and should be used for one hour each day, preferably in the morning. The treatment works through the eyes, but does not require looking directly into the light. Ideal for use while on a treadmill or an exercise bike. It comes with a long power cord for easy placement and any extra cord can be hidden in the base of the lamp.
